Ben Anderton

DIRECTOR

Benedict has been a financial adviser since 1996 and is the founder of Grosvenor Wealth Management, launching the firm in 1999. What Benedict tries to do at GWM is to inspire and lead the team to always operate at the highest levels of professionalism and integrity, building long-term Private Client and B2B relationships based on trust. Building on Benedict’s technical expertise, he leads GWM with a genuine drive and enthusiasm to help clients achieve lifelong financial security and peace of mind.

Benedict enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the great British outdoors with friends and family. He is active sportsman and has an interest in sports. Benedict also enjoys creating things in his workshop. He maintains a family connection within the firm with his sister-in-law, Karen Anderton, operating as Grosvenor’s Head of Finance.

Tony Sellers

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Tony is a Chartered Accountant (FCA), having qualified with Deloitte, and has a wealth of experience growing customer serving, entrepreneurial and blue-chip companies including T-Mobile, the Caudwell Group, the Cooperative Bank and Capita.

His role at Grosvenor Wealth Management is to lead the management team with delivering their ongoing strategy to grow and further develop the firms personalised client service offering.

Tony lives in Cheshire and is married with three daughters. In his spare time he is a passionate cook and enjoys experimenting with new and creative recipes in the kitchen.

Karen Anderton

HEAD OF FINANCE

Karen graduated from Bournemouth university in 1992 with a 2:1 BA Hons Degree in Tourism and Financial Management. She went on to work for Qantas Airways and British Airways over a period of 16 years working in Customer Sales Management and Business Project Management. Karen joined Grosvenor Wealth Management in 2008, following a career break after having children.

At Grosvenor Wealth Management, Karen manages financial & budgetary reporting & planning and works closely with the Operations Manager and Compliance Manager to ensure a smooth day to day business operation.

Karen is married with three children and in her spare time she enjoys mountain biking in the Surrey Hills, walking & spending quality time with the family and being out in the garden cultivating vegetables and flowers.

Abbie Buss

HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Abbie has worked in the financial services industry since 1998. She joined Grosvenor Wealth Management in January 2014 and has supported the company’s growth journey to ensure that clients receive high standards of service and advice from the team.

As the Head of Operations, Abbie’s role is varied and she is responsible for the smooth running of the practice and working on projects to enhance the client experience at Grosvenor. On a day to day basis she oversees the management of systems and controls, training and development, recruitment and client communications.

Abbie enjoys watching football and including seeing her son play football for their local Hertfordshire team. In her spare time, Abbie enjoys spending time with friends, family, and travelling to new countries when she can.

Steven Peckham

HEAD OF COMPLIANCE

Following a successful career as a Financial Adviser, Steven spent 12 years as a Compliance Consultant, working with some of the largest financial companies in the world, such as PwC, Aviva, Lloyds, RBS and Virgin Money. Steve holds numerous Advanced Diploma qualifications, including Pension Transfers, Retirement Options and Investment Planning.

Steven is married with two children, a cat and a dog, and enjoys exploring the cities, towns and countryside that makes up our great country, as well as sampling what the rest of the world has to offer. He is well on the way to achieving his ‘bucket list’ wish to visit every continent, although being someone who prefers cocktails on the beach over hot chocolate in the snow, he is not looking forward to the trip to the Antarctic!

Davina Penson

FINANCE ASSISTANT

Davina is a seasoned accounts specialist with over 30 years of experience in the accounting, financial services and legal sectors. She worked for Mercer Lewin, Bower & Bailey and Pocock Rutherford before joining Grosvenor Wealth Management in May 2022 as Finance Assistant, supporting the Head of Finance, Karen Anderton.

In her spare time, Davina enjoys visiting the cinema and theatre, socialising with friends & family, spending quality time with her daughter and is a keen machine embroiderer.

Andrew Taylor

FINANCIAL PLANNER

Andrew began his Financial Services career when joining Barclays Premier Banking in 2001, where he gained valuable experience across both domestic and international markets, before joining their Private Banking Division in 2009. After gaining over a decade of experience, qualifications and client loyalty, he moved into Financial Planning.

He joined Grosvenor Wealth Management as a Financial Planner, after being introduced to the management team by a mutual friend and joined the firm in October 2021.

Andrew is originally from Salford in Greater Manchester, and now lives in leafy Greenwich, South East London. He is a keen and experimental cook, fitness enthusiast with his own gym set up and an avid reader, with an eclectic taste in music, which is one of his great passions in life.

Andrew Willis

FINANCIAL PLANNER

Andrew began his Financial Services career at Sun Alliance in 1988 before he became an IFA in 1994. His tenure at Grosvenor Wealth Management started in 2006 in Central London.

With a particular interest in investments and retirement planning, Andrew enjoys guiding clients to assess, understand and achieve their goals. In recent years, Andrew has presented our successful Retirement Planning and IHT seminars.

Andrew is married with two grown up children and has a variety of interests outside of work including walking, watching sports, reading and listening to music.

Prem Shergill

FINANCIAL PLANNER

Prem has worked in the financial services industry since 1997, starting at Halifax and moving onto the Co-operative Financial Services where she gained her Financial Adviser qualifications and became Diploma qualified in 2012. She has had a successful career in building strong relationships and offering professional advice.

She joined Grosvenor Wealth Management in 2017 to offer financial advice on an independent basis. Prem particularly enjoys building relationships, creating financial plans and monitoring them on an ongoing basis.

Prem is married with two grown up children and has participated in the Great North Run Half Marathon six times. She enjoys spending time with family, friends and travelling to see her daughter in Bermuda.

Stephen Cummins

FINANCIAL PLANNER

Qualified over 20 years ago, Stephen has worked with a wide range of clients as a high-net-worth adviser. He’s used to using all of his skills and knowledge to help his clients gain better potential returns, retire sooner or with a better standard of living, and protect the things that are important to them.

He joined Grosvenor Wealth Management in January 2023 as a Financial Planner, having most recently advised the rural & farming community across the Home Counties. As a member of the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute), Stephen is looking forward to working towards his chartered status.

Stephen is married with a grown up family based in Bedfordshire. He is an enthusiastic rugby fan, both at club and international level. He enjoys skiing across the French alps, as well as enjoying a relaxing beach holiday in the summer. Stephen is also passionate about raising money for charity and keeping fit, which motivated him to complete a number of marathons and ultra-marathons.

Alan Ramsden

MORTGAGE ADVISER

Alan is a mortgage specialist and has had a distinguished career in financial services, spanning more than 30 years and specialises in residential and buy-to-let mortgages. He can advise you on equity release, commercial loans, personal finance, bridging finance and development finance.

Alan worked at Barclays for five years and qualified through the banking exams. He then went into the financial services industry in 1981 and worked on clients life assurance, pensions, investments and then focused on commercial finance and mortgage brokering. Alan joined GWM in March 2020 where he manages the mortgage advice side of the firm.

In his spare time, he enjoys walking, travelling the world, playing golf, and researching & collecting rare Anglo-Saxon coins.

Analyst Team

Matt Tolliday

ANALYST

Matt has worked in the financial services industry since 1991, working for a number of companies including Manulife, Canada Life and Richmond House Group before spending a number of years at CMP Financial, where he supported the business owner.

He joined Grosvenor Wealth Management in 2016 where he holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and Certificates in Discretionary Management and Pension Transfer Advice. Matt works closely with the advisers, analysing and researching clients’ information to ensure the most appropriate recommendations are made.

Matt is married with two children and likes to spend his spare time walking, running and cycling, watching sport and listening to his vinyl and CD collection.

Scott Murray

ANALYST

Scott has worked in the financial services sector for over 10 years, the majority of which has been spent as a Paraplanner.

He joined Grosvenor Wealth Management in September 2017 as an Analyst. Scott holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and a Certificate in Discretionary Management. He works with the advisers to create comprehensive financial plans for clients and maintaining Grosvenor’s investment proposition.

Scott enjoys playing football and watching his beloved QPR. He also enjoys spending time in the gym, catching up with friends and listening to his music.

Claire Leary

ANALYST

Claire’s career and passion for the financial services sector began in 2013 at Canada Life. She has worked in a variety of roles supporting both clients and financial advisers.

She joined Grosvenor Wealth Management in November 2021 as an Analyst and works closely with the advisers, carrying out detailed research to provide personalised recommendations for clients.

Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the theatre, watching football and travelling to new and exciting destinations around the world when possible.

Mark French

ANALYST

Mark started his career in the financial services industry in 2006 as a paraplanner administrator working for Barnet Waddingham before moving onto Pocock Rutherford.

After he completed his diploma qualifications in 2014, Mark made the leap to Grosvenor Wealth Management in 2015 where he became an Analyst. He specialises in supporting clients with their cashflow forecasting, paraplanning and financial life planning.

Mark is married with two children. He enjoys swimming, watching horror films, spending time with family & friends, watching Wimbledon and travelling to new locations around the world.

Penny Rawlings

CLIENT SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR

Penny has had a varied career mostly within the wealth management industry specialising in client services. She started out her career in 2005 working at several large firms including Fisher Investments UK, Randstad UK, HSBC and The Private Investment Office. Penny is Diploma qualified and has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the financial services sector. She joined Grosvenor Wealth Management in September 2023 as a Client Services Administrator to expand her experiences and knowledge of the industry along with building strong relationships with clients.

In her spare time, Penny enjoys long walks in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, along with running and cycling around it too. She has also been known to do the occasional long distance charity ride around Europe.

Ava Bellos

CLIENT SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR

Ava worked in corporate finance until a career change in late 2021 to pursue her passion in financial services, specifically the wealth management sector.

She joined Grosvenor Wealth Management in May 2022 as a Client Services Administrator. To increase her financial services knowledge and become qualified, Ava has begun her diploma in financial planning.

In her spare time, Ava is an avid listener of the radio station, Classic FM, and is also an experienced horse rider. She also enjoys reading a good novel and has a keen interest in ancient history, sculptures and architecture, regularly visiting Cadagon Hall, the V&A, National Gallery and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.

Nicola Augier

ADMINISTRATOR

Nicola has worked in a variety of industries over the years, from Banking, Oil to Electronics. She has been working with the Grosvenor Wealth Management team for over 10 years and loves the mundane jobs others find a chore.

Outside of work, Nicola is married with a son and likes to spend her spare time, shopping, cooking, reading, doing Tai Chi, walking, swimming, and taking part in dance classes. She is a proud cat mum and enjoys going to shows, live entertainment and going on cruises.

Kane Lawrence

ADMINISTRATOR

Kane is a confident and passionate individual who enjoys supporting his fellow colleagues in the workplace. Having graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2019, he is always looking to apply his skills to help achieve client satisfaction and business growth.

Having joined Grosvenor Wealth Management in April 2022, he has hit the ground running and is keen to develop his administrative skills over time with support from the team and personal development training.

An avid theatre goer and amateur actor, Kane also enjoys playing PlayStation, PC and boardgames, hanging out with friends and spending time with family. He regularly takes trips to Sheffield to catch up with university friends. He is also into fitness and regularly goes to the gym.
