Grosvenor Wealth Managements’ Head of Finance, Karen Anderton, will be taking on the UK’s biggest female cycling event, Ride the Night London 100km, in late April to raise money for Women V Cancer.
Throughout the night on the 29th April, thousands of women will unite to cycle a phenomenal 50km or 100km through London for Breast Cancer Now, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action.
The participants will start at Kempton Park Racecourse in Surrey, with motivational music, speeches, warm-ups and more, to get each cyclist ready for the challenge ahead. The participants will set off in waves to cycle a circular 50km or 100km route through London.
Pedalling past Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace and many more iconic landmarks, they’ll light up London with their pink high-vis Ride the Night London vests and the sparkling Women V Cancer spirit.

Why are you taking on the Ride the Night cycle event Karen?
“In memory of all those that I’ve lost to Cancer & for those who continue to fight, I’m taking on Women V Cancer Ride the Night to raise vital funds for three important charities at a time when they need it most – Breast Cancer Now, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action’s. All three charities have continued to provide vital information and support to thousands of patients.”
Show your support
We’re passionate when it comes to supporting charities and we are increasing our support for both local and national organisations. We promote charities throughout GWM to ensure their visibility and brand is maximised through all relevant channels. If there is a fundraising event or an important announcement, Grosvenor will reshare the story.
Our team love a good challenge, especially if it can raise money for a charity, whether it be a charity swim, cycle or running event. So, whenever one of our staff is preparing to take on a challenge, we’ll encourage them to set up a fundraising page.
