It is with great pleasure that we welcome back long serving GWM financial planner, Andrew Willis, to the Grosvenor Wealth Management head office.
Andrew unfortunately went on long-term sickness leave in early 2021 due to cardiac arrest. However, thanks to the support of his loving wife, family, and his strong, determined attitude, Andrew is well on the road to recovery. In late November 2021, Andrew decided it was time to make his return to work after his long recuperation period.
Having worked in Financial Services since 1988, Andrew joined Grosvenor Wealth Management in December 2006. His role is broad-based covering all aspects of financial planning from pensions and investments to protection and mortgages. Andrew has a keen interest in fostering long-term relationships with clients and delivering first class sensible solutions.
Andrew is also the mastermind behind the GWM 2021 charity distance challenge. He came up with an idea to help raise funds for the charity MIND and was keen to make it as challenging as possible, so a plan was pieced together to make this idea a reality.
The idea was to form a team to walk, run or cycle a distance of 14,000km (8,699 miles) before the end of 2021, and to get each member of the Grosvenor team to track their distance on a fitness app to help track progress. What a challenge! That’s the equivalent of trekking from London to Kathmandu and back! The team have now completed the challenge, collectively covering 14,086 kms in under 11 months.
So far the Grosvenor team have raised £1,714 including the company’s generous matching. So, if you haven’t sponsored us yet we would really appreciate you getting behind us.
